Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation. They are responsible, by law, for ensuring that the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation pursues its charitable objectives and allocates funding appropriately. The Board of Trustees work closely with Sir Clive Lloyd and the Chief Executive to guide the strategic direction of the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation. Advisory Council

The Advisory Council offer their guidance and expertise to the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive, drawing upon their background in law, private equity, business and philanthropy. They provide support with fundraising and help facilitate partnerships and collaborations in support of the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation. Current members are:

  • Andy Gray, Chairman of Graphite Capital
  • Claire Wills, Partner at Freshfields and non-executive director of Surrey County Cricket Club and trustee of The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales
  • Barry O’Brien, former Partner at Freshfields and former Chairman of Glamorgan Cricket Club and the English Cricket Board

Ethics Committee

An Ethics Committee will be established by the Board of Trustees to ensure that grant funding is allocated with the highest ethical standards and in accordance with our mission, to reduce prostate cancer mortality in the Caribbean. The role of the Committee is to review grant funding proposals and provide their expert recommendations to the Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive.
